In b-t-b marketing, sales collateral still has its purpose. Not everything has gone digital or on the Web. Distributors rely on these leave-behind pieces to complement their sales process and to reinforce product features and benefits as well as the manufacturer’s brand attributes and value. Over time, new sales collateral is requested by distributors or some retooling of the existing inventory is required. In Henny Penny’s case, nine pieces of literature are being retooled. This process ranges from adding content on the new EE fryer and enhancing the product family photo to minor copy and photo changes.
